Green Expert Technology, Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to all aspects of software product life cycle in support of the US Navy Engineering Control Systems Group.
Location: Philadelphia Naval Business Center
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to all aspects of software product life cycle (requirements definition, software development, test, deployment and ongoing support)
• Participate in architecture, software, and HMI design based upon requirements and specifications
• Prepare detailed specifications from which the software is based on
• Develop test cases and procedures linked to requirements
• Provide distance and on-site customer support as necessary
Qualifications:
• U.S. citizenship is required; applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Languages: C++ and C# required. Java, Ada, VisualBasic, .net, SQL
• Experience with using software configuration management tools (e.g. Clearcase, SVN)
• Experience with customer support on software usability (e.g. training, operations, etc.)
• Field software interface testing a plus (System Operational Verification Testing)
• Understanding of interfaces/protocols: modbus, profibus, multi-cast, broadcast, analog (ex: 4-20mA) and/or digital (ex: switching)
• Industrial Automation / Machinery Controls Systems / Systems Engineering experience a plus
• PLC experience a plus
• Java experience a plus
• Ability to travel
