TEAM LEADER
DESCRIPTION:
The primary focus of the Sales Operations Team Leader is to support the sales operations management team in daily leadership and management of the sales representative team members. The Team Leader accomplishes this goal in conjunction with the Sales Operations Coach by implementing, guiding, and assisting the team with performance requirements and adherence to Liberator policies and procedures. This position will report to the Call Center Director and will have approximately 15 direct reports.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience
DUTIES:
The Team Leader position includes but is not limited to the following primary and ancillary duties and responsibilities:
1. Measuring and gauging all activities of Sales representative’s production in order to provide feedback resulting in team performance improvement.
2. Monitors sales representative phone calls to ensure quality and compliance are within Medicare, HIPAA, and Sales Operations departmental guidelines.
3. Coaching and training team members in sales practices, telephone etiquette, and product knowledge through presentation of team member call monitoring results and desk side coaching.
4. Resolving and researching any team member’s issues in relation to a customer’s shipment, account, status, or products to include receiving and making supervisor calls.
5. Manage key production requirements to include scheduling staff members to meet production requirements established by sales operations management.
6. Reorganizes, expedites, or reviews customer account status with the support of other sales team members and operational leaders to ensure customer accounts are processed timely.
7. Occasionally assigns and manages special customer lead projects to team members.
8. Makes recommendations to sales operations management regarding hiring, promotion, transfer, performance management, disciplinary action, and discharge of retention representative team members.
9. Prepares documentation and counsels representatives regarding performance and performance management documentation with the supervision of sales operations management
10. Assists the team by completing customer orders when necessary to meet business needs.
11. Providing cross division supervision as a sales operations management iniative to visit with each team and answer questions that all sales representatives may have.
12. Gathers and presents departmental and cross departmental sales operations statistics for reporting to sales operations management.
13. Engages in on-going leadership training facilitated by management
14. Perform Other duties and tasks as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. a. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; one year within current position or a combination of previous supervisory experience and training.
b. Skills:
i. Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and sales training tools. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, team members, and/or customers.
ii. Math: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply intermediate math skills.
iii. Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
iv. Computer: Knowledge of Word Processing software, Excel, Access and/or other database software.
v. Telecommunications: ability to utilize or knowledge of call center telecommunications software (i.e. dialer systems)
c. Licensure or Certifications required: No certifications needed
15. WORK REQUIREMENTS
i. Ability to work day, evening, weekend shifts, and overtime as needed
