Supplier Quality Engineer
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 Range plus excellent benefits and relocation package
Our Client is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for their State of the Art facility. This person will assure products coming in from assigned suppliers meet the set quality goals. This candidate will be an integral part of perform supplier assessments to potential suppliers.
The Supplier Development Engineer will ensure part quality requirements are communicated promptly to the assigned suppliers. You will be involved in teaching quality principles, systems, measurement and statistical techniques as appropriate to achieve desired levels of supplier development. In this position, you will organize and maintain supplier PPAP data-base, coordinate change Management Process with suppliers and support follow up on customers for identified PPAP requirements. Must have experience working with suppliers and maintaining good customer relationships.
Must be familiar with their manufacturing processes that include Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, TS 16949, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Process Flow, Corrective Action Process, and Problem Solving Methodologies (5-Why, 8D, etc.)

Requirements for the Supplier Development Engineer:
• Degree in Engineering, plus manufacturing training quality techniques.
• TS 16949, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• Experience in manufacturing environment working with new product development and their suppliers.
• Must be experienced in an automotive environment
• Some travel is expected
