POSITION: GENERAL SALES MANAGER
COMPANY: Import Auto Dealership
LOCATION: Madison, WI
Summary:
In charge of handling the sales representatives working at the dealership both New and Used. The General Sales Manager will oversee the front end and be "hands on" for both New and Used. Will also oversee the staffing of the company, hires and trains new employees; sets the sales quotas or goals, helps in financing arrangements, warranties and rebates for clients. Leads the dealership's sales team.
Responsible for developing campaigns, marketing plans and other effective techniques for the Dealership. Other tasks include maintaining the allotted budget, employing and training new staff, mastering the features of all cars in their lot, entertaining car buyers and handling customer complaints or inquiries. Sales manager will also manage vehicle inventories, sales reports and invoices, and other documents.
PROFILE:
Experience of 3 - 5 years of successful retail auto dealership management
Prefer candidates to be top performing salespeople with minimum of high school diploma. Knowledge and Skills
Should be well organized so to handle both sales and managerial duties. Must also possess excellent customer service skills, PR skills, strong leadership and communication skills, negotiating skills, basic accounting skills, management skills, multi-tasking skills and advanced computer skills.
