Job Description:
• The Global Project Manager is responsible for managing cross functional, complex projects related to new technology initiatives and implementations across borders.
• S/he will be the project owner who will develop, with the project team, the plan and will ultimately be responsible for meeting the timelines.
• The home base for this position will be Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities:
• Executive-level presence and awareness
• Drive global project planning initiatives
• Apply project management expertise, methodologies, & standards
• Communicate effectively with team members, senior leaders, and the broader organization
• Leverage well developed interpersonal skills to build & maintain positive working relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Use project knowledge to be strategic in planning short-, mid-, long-term project plans and identifying interdependencies
• Develop, maintain, track, and manage a high-quality, integrated project plan to enable accurate reporting and decision making
• Manage the critical path of the project and key project risks
• Coordinate project meeting’s and compile minutes for distribution
• Provide executive level project reporting
• Adhere to BSA IT, project management solution delivery framework processes
• Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Business Administration
• PMP Certification
• Fluency in the languages (Japanese, English,)
• 5+ years of IT with project management experience
• Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional, complex projects
• Proficiency with MS Project
• Ability to travel globally up to 40% required during various phases of the project
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence and manage across functional areas
