The Branch Manager would be responsible for leading and supervising branch staff members which will include, but not limited to, training, mentoring and professional growth.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities include:
•Developing personal contacts and conduct presentations among existing and potential member groups to educate, increasing awareness and promoting PTFCU’s products and services.
•Assisting the regional staff with training and knowledge of products and operating procedures.
•Making daily decisions concerning regional operation.
•Making necessary daily work and scheduling adjustments to meet the service demands of the regional offices.
•Ensuring that branch office is operating using consistent policies and procedures.
•Responding to audits that are performed in the branch and making necessary adjustments based on audit findings.
•Oversee cash operations and ensuring that the office is operating under established guidelines and insurance requirements.
•Ensuring that staff receives required training. Recommend training to ensure that staff continues to increase their knowledge and further their development.
•Achieving sales goals for various products.
•Creating sales campaigns to achieve established goals.
•Performing other duties as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess:
•An Associate’s degree (A.A.) with an emphasis in business administration or closely related field from two-year college and a minimum of three (3) years of credit union or banking experience;
•In lieu of Associate’s degree, high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five (5) or more years with progressive credit union or banking experience required.
•At least three (3) years of branch management experience within the past 5 years.
•Proven examples of successful, efficient and effective management and leadership of staff.
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
•Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
•Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•Ability to travel within local Houston area, occasionally.
•Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Hours
•Monday Friday; 8:00 am 6:00 pm and Saturdays, 8:45 am 1:15 pm.
