Summary:
To support software quality assurance testing and other activities related to Software Application quality
Essential Responsibilities for this SQA Analyst Role:
• Analyze business requirements to determine the range and scope of testing scenarios needed to fully exercise new or changed code
• Participate in large project requirements and design review, providing constructive feedback
• Supports change management/release management activities with detailed information regarding dependencies or risks identified during testing
• Develop test plans and scenarios including test steps pass/fail criteria covering complex business functions and/or multi-system/integrated environments
• Execute tests, document results, and work with developers to remediate/retest
• Coordinate with end-users to test when additional business/functional subject matter expertise is needed
• Use Mercury Quality Center software tools to enter testing requirements and track completion of test activities and manage defects
• Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
• Participate in any/all training and educational activities
• Diligently maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and the overall facility on a daily basis.
• As required by changing business needs, complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements for this SQA Analyst role:
• Bachelors Degree desired, preferably in technical or engineering discipline
• 2-10 years experience in an insurance, hospital or other managed care/healthcare setting developing business subject matter expertise and/or 2-5 years working on testing team
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills needed when working with all stakeholders (business and technical, staff and management)
• Attention to detail to ensure that all tests/results are documented through every iteration
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package, Visio Professional, Internet software.
• Familiar with office equipment including printers, photocopiers, fax machines, PCs, telephone.
• Experience with Internet and different browsers.
