Description:
As a Residential Closing Disclosure Generalist, you will be primarily responsible for the accurate and complete preparation of the Closing Disclosure for Single-family 1-4 unit Residential, Single Family Residence (SFR), property loans. You will also be primarily responsible for the delivery of this disclosure to the consumer, along with verification and validation of information obtained from the Settlement Agent (i.e. escrow or escrow attorney) and the Loan Team. You will work closely with the Loan Closer and Loan Funder for either East or West coast closings. You will manage the delivery and receipt of both the Pre-Closing Disclosure and the Closing Disclosure. The successful Closing Disclosure Generalist will function in an environment of constantly changing deadlines without losing required high level of accuracy and production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review documentation and information, from the originating Loan Team and the settlement & title companies, in an accurate and timely manner for a range of SFR 1-4 loan products:
o Simple borrower entities.
o Detached SFR and condo property types.
o Purchase and refinance transactions.
• Perform clerical functions as needed:
o Complete assigned tasks in order to support day-to-day departmental operations.
o Perform related loan processing duties that may extend to other departments within Lending Services.
• Work with internal business partners at various levels to research and resolve transaction concerns.
• Complete all internal funding documentation and distribute to appropriate departments.
• Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities or as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
• High school diploma and one to two years of experience in the banking industry required.
• Experience with loan documentation.
• Ability to work with internal business partners and Lending Services staff at various level to research and resolve transaction concerns.
• Verbal and written interaction on items including basic loan information or scripted responses to obtain a successful resolution.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with PowerLender and/ or OnBase, a plus.
• Demonstrated skills in organization and strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
