Responsible for high level sales and business data consolidation, preparation and analysis
Interpret and comply with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Perform other related projects and duties, as assigned.
Preparation and Analysis of Reports
Develops, consolidates and analyze monthly sales forecast, annual Business Plan and divisional MTP (Mid-Term Plan)
Maintains database to track sales result, forecast and Business Plan by customer, product and business division and generate reports as necessary
Updates monthly industry/market information including US light vehicle and eco-car sales and inventory reports
Conduct various variance analysis such as result vs. forecast, Business Plan or previous month/year
Project Management
Plans, organize, and verify the work of others, as needed.
Assist sales team develop monthly sales forecast, Business Plan and MTP from start to finish with cooperation of many internal groups.
Communication
Communicates with a variety of individuals across various functional areas both within and outside of company, including sales executives, managers, and employees, both locally and globally.
Presentation Materials
Compiles data and develops creative presentation materials with charts and graphs for people at all levels of the organization.
PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW: :(complexity of problems and education/experience & other knowledge required)
Four-year college degree in business/marketing/finance or a related field and two (2) years related business/analysis experience; or two year college degree in business/marketing/finance or a related field and five (3) years related business analysis experience.
Analytical skills to include extensive experience with sales/financial analysis.
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Windows based databases as appropriate to the position and assignment.
Bi-lingual English-Japanese language skill is a plus.
