Description:
Support Advance Purchasing Management in financial analysis activities. Collect, analyze, and report cost modeling for new programs, support budgeting and other metrics as required. Provides analytical support of Bill of Material (BOM) costing and tracking during development phases. Tracks price trends on specific commodities. Primary responsibility for cost/price changes in Pre-production Phases of all GM and JOEM programs. Tracks cost reductions prior to program launch. Maintains and supports Advance Purchasing pre-production schedules. Updates Pre-production BOM during engineering builds. Support the reporting of Advance Purchasing Metrics (KPIs). Support cost accumulation of quality charge backs and contributions. Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations. Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information. Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Excel, and PowerPoint required.

High school diploma/GED and three (3) years’ related experience or; BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent related field and one (1) year related experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Familiarity with budgets and accounting practices, manufacturing costing, inventory control, and costing simulations.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
