We are currently recruiting a full time Family Medicine CRNP/PA to join our group.
With the supervision of a Physician, the candidate will assist in the treating of all medical problems pertaining to Family Medicine.
Essential Clinical Duties:
• Perform physical examinations, write orders, chart notes, discharge patients and complete discharge summaries
• Conduct and record patient’s medical history and current health status
• Collect specimens and initiates commonly performed blood, urine, stool analysis and cultures
• Develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan
• Assist and perform minor surgical procedures including superficial foreign body removal, wound care, incision and drainage of superficial abscesses, and suturing of minor lacerations.
• Apply dressings and bandages.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids
• Prepares written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances.
• Initiate appropriate lab, radiology tests or other special tests
• Analyze lab data on new and former patients
• Educate patients regarding their disease and treatment
Experience preferred but we are willing to train new graduates.
Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be eager to work with patients and staff, and have the ability to multitask.
