Job Title: Business Development Representative
Status: Full-Time
Department: Sales
Primary Job Purpose: Interact with potential clients to provide information regarding services over the telephone in order to obtain new clientele.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Deal directly with potential clients via telephone.
2. Complete outbound calls to various businesses or private individuals via telephone in order to solicit services for their needs.
3. Explain services and answer front line questions
4. Obtain customer information such as Name, Address and type of service needed and either transfer call to the appropriate Client Service Representative or email the Client Services queue to be able to be handled within the required allotment of time.
5. Obtain names and telephones of potential clients from internal sources.
6. Manage customers' accounts and Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
7. Recite sales scripts for consistency with potential clients
8. Adjust sales scripts to better target needs and interests of specific potential clients.
9. Answer return calls from potential clients that have already been solicited through phone calls initiated.
10. Maintain records of contacts for tracking purposes.
11. Adhere to the monthly quota for sales goals.
12. Schedule appointments for Sales Representatives to meet with prospective Business Clientele for sales presentations.
13. Conduct Client Satisfaction Surveys or Market Surveys in order to obtain information about potential clients so that can assist in the company’s growth.
Job Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma, GED
Experience: Previous Experience with Sales or Previous Business Development Representative Position (minimum 2 years of experience).
He/ She needs to have knowledge of sales principles and practices and knowledge of relevant computer. You must have ability to type at least 45wpm. The candidate must have knowledge of administrative procedures and numeric, oral and written language applications.
