What Network contributes to Cardinal Health:
Network is responsible for designing, implementing, operating and maintaining the Cardinal Health local and wide area networks.
What is expected of you for success in your role:
•Ability to design and implement Aruba wireless networks for a diverse set of wireless clients: handhelds, RF devices, wireless phones, iPad’s, mobile phones, and traditional workstations/laptops
•Knowledge of best practices in an Aruba wireless environment
•Troubleshoot and effectively resolve issues with wireless devices and network setup
•Ability to manage partners and provide the appropriate support and governance for successful implementations.
•Works well with internal and external teams to resolve problems
•Ability to be self-motivated to complete tasks
•Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively multi-task on multiple projects at the same time
•Ability to manage client and stakeholder expectations to effectively set and deliver on commitments
Accountabilities in this role:
•Participate in and/or serve as the technical lead on multiple large, highly visible projects simultaneously
•Manage partners effectively to deliver successful implementations
•Create and manage the upkeep of network documentation including detailed deployment, test, and support plans
•Troubleshoot devices, wireless, and LAN/WAN networks as needed
•Responsible for setting wireless and device standards to align with short and long term strategies
•Work with cross-functional teams to establish network standards regarding new technologies
Qualifications
•Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Aruba or Cisco wireless technologies
•Minimum of 3 years of experience working with network technologies
•Knowledge of design software such as Visio or CAD
•Working knowledge of Cisco IOS
•Experience with Cisco wireless is desired
•Aruba and Cisco certifications are a plus
