Payroll Supervisor at Staff Financial Group in Atlanta, GA

Position Summary:

The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for all payroll activities necessary to timely and
accurately process the weekly payrolls for approximately 1100 employees located in 138
properties in 21 states. The Payroll Supervisor position reports directly to the Controller.

Essential Functions:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the payroll department and supervise the
activities of two payroll associates
Ensure all new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations are
processed timely and accurately
Manage the input and processing of all garnishments, levies, and child support orders
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations
Ensure W-2s are processed and distributed timely and accurately
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all payroll data

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of payroll supervisory experience
Experience in payroll report writing applications and Excel
Extensive knowledge of payroll taxes and regulatory reporting
