Responsible for data architecture and data technical design for pc/bc databases or systems and will be involved in Co-ordinating technical design and functionality with team leads. Ensure understanding of inter-dependencies, business impacts, and process efficiency.
Ensures data security standards are implemented including: role based security, encryption, tokenization, and obfuscation.
Works with application teams to identify functional requirements that drive technology that enables business functionality.
Designs and maintains database structures including tables, views, synonyms, sequences, triggers, procedures, functions, indexes, materialized views, partitioning strategies, and compression.
Analyzes data to validate data issues or provide bulk data defect fixes.
Should develop SQL, PL/SQL, views, DDL and scripts to deliver database components as part of the policy center, billing center and Claims application system. Designs and maintains database structures including tables, views, synonyms, sequences, triggers, procedures, functions, indexes, materialized views, partitioning strategies, and compression.
Skill set:
Strong SQL, PL/SQL
Sound knowledge in SAP BODS
Knowledge in SSIS and Informatica PowerCenter
Strong Data Analysis and Good data modeling foundation
Knoweldge in Data modeling tool lke ERwin
Experience with various database technologies and data integration techniques (ETL, MQ, Webservices)
Database and SQL Performance tuning
Informatica Metadata Manager (or other Metadata management experience)
Extensive knowledge of all components of technical architecture.
