IT Architect
Scope of work:
• Coordinate and collaborate in the documentation of our existing IT architecture/infrastructure, application, and technology portfolios.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of portfolio roadmaps and
• Work in conjunction with Enterprise Architects and line of technology architects in recommending alternative technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility
• Develop and maintain cross system architecture models, views, and documentation (service catalogs, technical inventories, system landscapes, etc.)
Required skills/competencies:
• 7+ years of formal, corporate IT experience
• Experience with architecture roadmap creation and management
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build credibility quickly with key internal and external audiences
• Knowledge of approaches (benefits and pitfalls) to deliver incremental business benefits from technical project initiatives
• Formal training on TOGAF, DODAF, Zachman or equivalent architecture framework
• BS Degree computer science, information systems, or computer engineering is required
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with enterprise architecture management suites preferred (Troux, Alfabet, ARIS, Rational, etc)
• Enterprise Architecture certification (TOGAF, etc)
management or finance educational background or experience preferred
