6459 - Technology Analyst - Guest Experience

Works closely with Brand Hotel Operations, Brand Marketing, and Information Technology along with other internal operational departments and outside vendors to understand business and guest experience objectives for the area assigned. Determine and document business process and requirements along with evaluation of possible solutions and generating recommendations for solutions; while partnering with the project management organization (PMO) and engineering teams within IT to ensure compliance with company standards and project timelines/budgets. Responsible for meeting with business partners and vendors directly and facilitating/leading requirements gathering sessions (white boarding, brainstorming). Able to quickly understand the issues and operational challenges facing IT and the business partners as well as the larger organization as a whole.
- Responsible for facilitating a comprehensive User Acceptance Testing effort with the assigned operations representatives. Writing test cases, loading test cases and data into ALM, executing test cases with operational representatives and recording results.
• Analyzes business and user needs, documentation of requirements per our standards, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Participate in solution option evaluations with IT teams and business partners.
• Responsible for initial planning and estimation of low to moderate complexity projects and requests.
• Interfaces with PMO on developing a comprehensive project plan and leading business partners in their areas such as training, testing, operational changes/plans, user acceptance testing and deployment to the field (global locations).
• Remains engaged throughout the project at critical milestones, also working with business partners on their portions of the project. Assists in providing product training to internal IT teams. Writing and Executing comprehensive test cases to validate requirements gathered Reporting status, testing results, show stoppers on daily/weekly basis.
Works as part of a team that is ultimately responsible for business satisfaction and delivery of an exceptional guest experience. Work as a member of the IT Portfolio Group, and also may be required to work independently with business partners on projects and larger initiatives. Keeps the team informed of progress and issues, particularly as it relates to changes in scope, schedule, and budget. Needs to be technically savvy and posses strong collaboration abilities.

Required skills: Experience working in a large hotel/resort environment along with knowledge of and experience supporting enterprise back office systems. Expected to gain knowledge of current cruise, hotel/resort, entertainment and technology trends and be able to participate in discussion of their application in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills
• Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, some directly with business teams
• Hospitality Experience, including Front Office/Guest Facing, Back Office, and Guest Entertainment Systems support required Experience with Mobile Hospitality solutions (iOS/Android)
• Excellent organizational skills Ability to adapt and excel in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Ability to manage changing priorities
• Ability to make sound business decisions, putting the good of the team, the project
Ability to own and drive issues to resolution, sense of urgency with strong follow-up skills
• Experience developing and executing testing strategies & test scripts. Experience with HP ALM Software
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential and proprietary information.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Property Management Systems / Hospitality ERP, NFC (RFID) Technologies, Microsoft Sharepoint, iOS/Android Application Development preferred.
Project Management and past direct Guest interaction experience an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Business, Engineering
4 - 6 years of experience in the field or in a closely related area of speciality.
Required Certifications: CCBA or CBAP Preferred
Travel may reach over 50% international travel. A valide US passport required
Must be able to freely travel to all global locations serviced by RCCL on short notice, for a duration of up to 45 days.
