Sr Analyst, JDE Financial Data.
CONTRACT TO HIRE
Scope of work:
Required to understand current business practices and work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Accounting, and I.T. teams. The analyst must posses functional knowledge and expertise, and the ability to engage with technical peers to explain and discuss business requirements. The person will be required to communicate with business, gather and document business requirements and scripts, perform testing and validation of JDE Financial and Distribution Data for the JDE Data Archiving project. They will assist in the validation and will require ability to create queries on the JDE tables. Understanding table structure, joins and relationship of the data will be important.
Required skills/competencies:
- Knowledge of JDE table structure and relationship is required for Finance and Distribution modules.
- Ability to create queries to allow for validation of data in JDE.
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provides functional guidance to team.
- Knowledge of data archiving.
- 5+ years of JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system knowledge with experience in Distribution, Finance & Payroll modules are required.
- Knowledge of data archiving preferably with JDE and or another ERP system
- Ability to query and validate data based on purging parameters.
- Knowledge of financial and integrity reports required for the validation of purge.
- Performs other duties as required.
Bachelor's degree in area of specialty ( IT or Accounting )
5+ years of experience in the field or related field
Training in the following JDE modules: Distribution, Finance and Payroll Modules
Required Certifications:
JDE Certifications or training in the areas of Distribution, Finance and Payroll.
Other comments:
This person will work to identify, test and validate JDE data that will be archived. Needs to fully understand JDE tables, fields and relationships of data. They should be a strong functional analyst with accounting background.
