Metallurgical Engineer Fast Growing Manufacturer
Salary $80,000 - $100,000 Range, Plus Excellent Benefits and Relocation Package
Expanding durable consumer product manufacturer has a newly created position for a Metallurgical Project Engineer. This individual should be a hands-on, production floor type with strong knowledge of metals. This will include testing and quality control of the mechanical properties of products produced, assessing and elimination various metallurgical problems encountered in the production process. This person will provide on-going support to the manufacturing engineers and the quality engineers of the department to ensure attainment of productivity and quality goals.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science or related field
• 3 + years of related experience
• Hands-on experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Familiar with ISO 14000, such as audits and corrective measures
• Safety training and compliance to laws and standards
• Ability to communicate effectively
