DOT SAFETY COORDINATOR: Immediate position available in our Scotch Plains, NJ office, (possible flexibility with demonstration of successful job performance.)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, FMCSA profile review, documentation, recommendations, proposals, and follow-up to closure for prospective clients and/or current clients. Grow client base for our USDOT services through existing client base, networking at industry meetings, conferences, trade shows, etc., and setting appointments. Attend on-site meetings with safety directors and/or decision makers for findings review and deal closure. Initiate marketing tools such as flyers for seminars and other marketing material. Coordinate all seminar logistics from venue to certificates of completion with regard to state and federal regulations compliance. Attend seminars as liaison. Using MS Outlook, coordinate and maintain schedules of trainers for USDOT services and seminars for potential and/or existing clients. Must comprehend current FMCSA regulations and possess awareness of upcoming regulations and other tools in order to bring additional value-added services and/or information to our clients. Must have understanding of FMCSA’s CSA Safety Measurement System. Business communication, computer, effective time management and communication skills are vital to successfully fulfilling job responsibilities.
