Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

REMA USA, LLC (REMA ) privately held, global company with operations in Germany, China and the USA, is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Quality Assurance Technician for the operation in Greenville, SC. The primary business of REMA is manufacturing, assembly and distribution of specialty electrical components.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming product (NCP) and implementation of appropriate corrective/preventive actions. Provide information and assistance to suppliers regarding Corrective Action Requests (CARs)
Implement and analyze statistical controls
Support the ISO function within the plant. Participate in creation and maintenance of Quality Management System documentation necessary to support verification activities. Participate with employee training in quality improvement activities
Qualifications:
2-year college degree and or ASQ Certification as a Quality Technician preferred.
3 5 years’ experience in quality and or manufacturing related fields desirable.
Working knowledge of advanced mathematics including statistical techniques, SPC, Capability Analysis and Gage R+R is required.
Must be able to apply quality tools for continuous improvement (FMEA)
Must know basic inspection and testing concepts, how to read blueprints and GD+T information. Must possess good communication skills both verbal and written.
Must possess the ability to work effectively and maintain a professional composure with other employees.
Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, statistical software
Requires understanding of basic PC computer application skills, including database, spreadsheets and word-processing.
Accuracy and attention to detail is very important to this position
The selected candidate will be required to complete a company sponsored drug test and background check as well as skills evaluations.
