The Capital Project Engineer will be responsible for the initiation,planning, execution, control, and completion of specific projects while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, goals, and budget.
Responsibilities:
Delivering projects that meet all safety, cost, schedule, and business goals through application of project management procedures/techniques
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
Define project tasks
Prepare AFE requests
Coordinate material and services procurement effort
Work with all departments across business units
Develop effective relationships with various contractors
Manage project cost controls
Monitor and report on project progress
Prepare and present reports
Assure technical quality of work performed
Assure compliance to a broad range of industry codes, standards and government regulations
Coordinate input of QA/QC groups
Ensure completions of all records, drawings, procedures, and turnover is complete through MOC process
Perform project evaluations and assessments of the results
MUST HAVES:
* BS in Engineering
* Must haves Oil & Gas exp
* Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls experience preferred
* Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred
* 5+ years in Engineering
* 2+ years in project related work required
