Essential Job Functions:
• Leverage Structural Analysis and Finite Element knowledge to execute projects involving Simulations and Analyses
• Execute stress analysis tasks using Hand Calculations and FEA software such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, and PATRAN
• Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment.
• Create Technical Documentation
• Continuously improve technical and procedural tools, work instructions, etc. to ensure repeatability
• Follow all regulatory and company procedures, including thorough recording of all work to ensure task traceability
Qualifications
• BS or higher in Mechanical, Structures, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• Interest in Structural Analysis or Stress Engineering service
• Exposure to the Aerospace industry is preferred
• Familiarity with FEA tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA is a plus
