Responsible for the inspection and release of raw materials and produce components in accordance with Material Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Schedules and performs raw material sampling, testing and release.
Coordinates raw material testing with both in-house and contract laboratories, independently.
Releases raw materials in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Maintains an up-to-date filing system for both open and closed inspection records.
Maintains a comprehensive sample retain system for raw materials.
Maintains critical testing equipment and sampling areas.
Releases product components for further manufacture, in conjunction with Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Develops and maintains written procedures, work instructions and material specifications with assistance.
Identifies and segregates nonconforming raw materials and product components for further inspection and review.
Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes. Incorporates the Code of Conduct values in all activities and interactions with others.
Education/Special Training Required High School Diploma (or equivalent) with QS or GMP experience preferred.
