Job Title: Messaging Engineer
Location: Dublin

Rate: $50 to $60 per hour
JOB TITLE: Messaging Engineer
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Messaging Services provides the end to end email environment for Cardinal Health including Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, Forefront Security for Exchange and Cisco Email Security Appliance (IronPort) solutions. The team is heavily involved in continuous fast moving acquisition and integration work. Responsibilities include process building, application administration, architectural diagraming and planning, system deployments, maintenance, documentation, working with vendors, end users and working with business partners.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integration planning, estimating and solution engineering to deliver quality experience for end users and any dependent applications or business requirements.
Ability to work with business partners and peer teams for solution integration needs.
Office 365 configuration and deployment with a focus of email and specifically in hybrid environments.
Deep understanding of Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013 and Office 365 administration, architecture and engineering.
Work with solution vendors for planning, installation, administration and troubleshooting of enterprise email and fax solutions.
Perform all aspects of solution documentation including architectural diagrams and operational procedures.
Understanding Messaging solutions to enhance system monitoring via SolarWinds Application Monitor.
Expected to work in a self driven environment and meet expected deadlines.
Microsoft Lync 2013 experience a plus
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education or equivalent:
BS in computer or related field or relevant work experience of 5+ more years in a large scale (25,000+ user base) enterprise messaging environment.
5+ years of experience in integration technologies and support in a large scale fast moving environment.
Office 365 deployment, migration and co-existent solution experience.
3+ years email integration/migration experience.
5+ years of advanced email engineering and administration of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013, Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007/2010/2013 and Cisco Ironport.
