Network Engineer (Converged) at Confidential in Fort Worth, TX

Contract Type: Long Term Contract
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Status: Only GC or USC as candidate has to be willing to be on our W-2

Must to have :
Converged network Infrastructure experience
Nexus Platform experience
USC Blade Knowledge.

Job Description:
Design and Implement new converged infrastructure deployments.
Skills: Strong knowledge base in Cisco Nexus series equipment (Nexus 2K, Nexus 5K, Nexus 7K, Nexus 1000v,)
Strong knowledge of the Cisco UCS technologyGood knowledge of Storage Area Networks (Cisco MDS switches, FC, FCoE, iSCSI, etc.)
Good knowledge of Data Center design principlesStrong knowledge of IP Internetworking (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS, IP Multicast)
Strong knowledge of Layer 2 Switching (STP, VLANs, 802.1q, 802.1x)
Strong troubleshooting background (Tier 3 experience required, ideally at a large ISP)
Strong knowledge of Network Security technologies (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, End Host Security, VPN, ACLs, etc.)
Good knowledge of Virtualization technologies (VMware, Stateless Computing, Network Virtualization, etc.)

Nice to have:
Provide Network and Security architectural guidance for applications deployed within the vBlock.
Provide Network and Security architectural guidance for new vBlock and Converged systems deployment.
Troubleshoot network and Security issues within the vBlock/Converged infrastructure Implement Network and Security Configuration changes on the vBlock.
