Job Description:
• Responsible for the assembly of electro-mechanical parts and components according to specifications.
• Follows techniques used in the process of wiring, soldering, lamination, testing or component handling
• Uses appropriate machines and tools to install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring, and harnesses.
• Replaces defective or rejected components as directed; may use and operate typical tools and equipment
• Follows all safety policies and procedures and wears required protective equipment
• Identifies and resolves basic assembly problems; escalates more complex problems to work lead, supervisor or manager
• Follows all verbal and written work policies and procedures.
• Completely fill out log book, lot travelers and other documents as required
• Be on time and ready to work; work as a team player with the other operators (help and support team members)
• Cleanup after each task and keep the workstation clean at all times
• Performs other functions as may be directed by production/manufacturing management.
Requirements:
• High School diploma, AA Degree Preferred
• Prior experience in solar manufacturing would be preferred
