Job Description
In addition to being a working developer and task holder on the scrum team, the Solution Architect also provides technical leadership for the specific application delivery team.
• Provides architectural and technological guidance to the team. Helps to translate the what into the how . Helps architect the solution. Sees the big picture. Able to enumerate and judge relative value of various technical approaches. Participates in process flow analysis and process design. Guide best practices.
• Works with Enterprise Architect Office (EAO) to interpret EAO standards and also guide and inform new and/or modify existing standards.
• Assists Product Owner when requested to help create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
• Responsible to facilitate and lead creation of detailed functional design documentation to support/enable customer requirements as defined in User Stories.
• Actively participates in User Story refinement, grooming, estimation.
• Assists in creation of VROM (Very Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent or 3+ years in an architecture role
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Significant experience with project and development lifecycles
• Development skills as required by specific application delivery team
• Strong development skills in SiteCore and .Net with a thorough understanding of the best practices in web content management (WCM) systems using Sitecore
• Experience in various front-end frameworks and mobile in a Sitecore context
• .Net, C# development experience
• Experience with Team Foundation Server, Hedgehog’s TDS, Sitecore Rocks
