Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Staff Attorney for a prominent law firm client in Washington, DC.
This position is responsible for managing teams of contract document reviewer attorneys supporting large litigation matters in the discovery phase. Some of the duties include: making sure the team is meeting quality and output expectations and also coordinating communication between the review team and the associates and partners on the various cases.
This position is also responsible for performing document review and analysis work when not engaged in such oversight and coordination duties.
Other duties include working with the firm’s litigation support group and e-discovery vendors to resolve end-user problems with the document databases and review systems in use; assisting with the review quality control and review metrics reporting processes; assisting with preparation of privilege logs.
Position Requirements: Must have at least three years of document review supervisory or coordination experience in an AMLAW 100 or 200 law firm setting working on large litigation, regulatory, or investigation matters; current good standing in the DC Bar; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; project coordination and a strong service orientation; significant experience with on-line document review systems such as Relativity, Documatrix, FTI’s Ringtail, or other similar document review software platforms; ability to work under pressure and willingness to work additional hours and help others with deadline intensive projects is required.
***Must have second language fluency in one of the following languages (in order of highest preference): Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, French, or German. JD from an accredited US law school or the equivalent is required.
Salary 95k plus paid OT.
