Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for an Assistant Manager, Client Accounts for a prominent law firm client in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for managing accurate opening of client matters, timekeepers, rate and fee arrangement setup through review of engagement letters and outside counsel guidelines.
Candidate will manage E-billing staff that obtains client approval of timekeepers and rates, manage e-billing setup for new clients and assist with troubleshooting e-bill issues. Some of the duties for this position include: managing and reporting accuracy, integrity and compliance of client account data; make sure new client accounts and electronically billed clients are properly set up ensuring accuracy of rates and that billing protocols are being followed; review client account financial data, fee structures, budgets, coding, records, documents and agreements to identify and address issues; coordinate rate change process for timekeepers and clients; ensure accurate set up of billing rates and special fee arrangements for client matters; maintain database of fee arrangements make sure information is up to date for billing.
Position Requirements: Strong experience with ELITE required, 5 +years client accounting/billing experience in a law and 3 years of supervisory experience. Candidate should have significant experience working with and keeping track of alternate fee arrangements and complex billing with special budgets/arrangements. Advanced proficiency with Excel required. Must have strong interpersonal and written communications skills.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
