Capitol Recruiters Inc. is recruiting for a Sr. Audio Visual Specialist for a top tier law firm client in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for assisting the A/V Manager with day-to-day supervision of the A/V team and management of A/V services.
Candidate will work with lawyers, staff, clients, and other departments to provide responsive, timely, solution oriented A/V customer service, as well as training and mentoring other team members on A/V system capabilities and functions. Responsibilities: Day-to-day operation of audio-visual support for conferences and meetings including video teleconferences, Webinars/WebEx, content sharing, digital recording, video editing and conference event support; creation and update of A/V work tickets to track set up of requested equipment and software, technical assistance for meetings, and system repairs; setup and configure various components of VTC, video equipment, sound equipment, computer, projector, flat panels, screens, and other related systems prior to scheduled meetings.
Position Requirements: Must have at least 7 years of progressively responsible experience configuring and supporting video teleconferencing and room audio systems and controls. Experience working in a law firm IT support environment is highly preferred. Must have expert level experience with Cisco Telepresence Solutions (CTS), including Telepresence Server, Conductor, and Content Server technologies, knowledge of Cisco multipoint control unit (MCU) system configurations and controls for multiple MCU platform types: 5300, 4501, MSE Series 4500 and 800, MX800, etc. required, strong working knowledge of Cisco routing and switching protocols for real-time network traffic such DSCP/QOS, SIP, with strong routing proficiency with BGP, MPLS, and OSPF, strong understanding of Crestron Fusion enterprise audio visual (AV) management suite. Must have demonstrated experience using Fusion RV management tools. Salary commensurate with experience; generous employee benefits offered.
