Job description:
Essential Job Functions:
* Modelling and analysis for nacelle metallic and composite structures.
* Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis.
* Dynamic analysis and engine mounts.
* Leverage Structural Analysis and Finite Element knowledge to execute projects involving Simulations and Analyses.
* Execute stress analysis tasks using Hand Calculations and FEA software.
* Make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment.
* Review work of other analysts for accuracy and completeness.
* Coordinate with local and overseas engineers to ensure timely delivery and minimize impact to production schedule
* Create Technical Documentation and standard work.
* Continuously improve technical and procedural tools, work instructions, etc. to ensure repeatability.
* Follow all regulatory and company procedures, including thorough recording of all work to ensure task traceability.
Qualifications
* BS or higher in Mechanical, Structures, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
* 4+ years' experience in flight vehicle structures
* Experience with modelling and analysis experience for nacelle metallic and composite structures, fatigue/damage tolerance analysis capabilities
* Proficiency with FEA/FEM tools, preferably NASTRAN/PATRAN
* Familiarity with math & data software, e.g. Excel, Access, Mathcad
* Experience with Quality Engineering, CFM or MRB a plus
* Technical report writing skills required.

1. BS or higher in Mechanical, Structures, or Aerospace Engineering or related.
2. 4+ years' experience in flight vehicle structures.
3. Experience with modelling and analysis experience for nacelle metallic and composite structures, fatigue/damage tolerance analysis capabilities
