Program Manager, Financial Accounting System and Projects
Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

The Program Manager, Financial Accounting Systems & Projects is part of corporate finance support team (business partner) leading system migration and integration to standard corporate accounting systems, Inline to corporate strategy driving efficiencies and value creation to business.

STRATEGIC SUPPORT

Contribute in developing "world class" finance technology architecture vision and plan
Create a roadmap of prioritized strategic and operational performance improvement initiatives and projects
Work collaboratively with local finance teams developing roll out plans inline to overall project launch plan.
Develop Accounting System (GP) best in class training document tailored to our client's business model.
Work with technical support teams on system design, implementation, report design and ongoing business support needs
SYSTEM MIGRATION AND IMPLEMENTATION

Work with technical teams during the design phase to ensure standard design while addressing local level exceptions
Develop Microsoft Dynamics (GP) accounting system detail migration plans with local markets, account reconciliation, account mapping, balance transfer and report development
Lead (GP) Pre and Post launch training and development plans for local finance teams
Produce management reports with key milestones and migration status, manage all issues and risk relating to the migration
Interact with other financial software tools (Budgeting, Travel & Expenses, Reporting & BI360) implement process improvements, training and development plans
Coordinate with lead users and IT to design, test and implement new or modified programs as needed
Build collaborative relationships on multiple organizational levels, which could include executives, senior management, managers, partners and peers from diverse backgrounds
Establish national governance structure to drive decision making and change
Represent finance on other major "cross functional" projects
RELATIONSHIPS AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Lead change management, training and development related to system migration and new system initiatives and projects.
Be a business partner/ change agent to local business while executing the overall corporate strategy
Develop strong relationships with IT/ local finance teams, Shared Service Center and stake holders of respective projects
Track business unit satisfaction and effectiveness on an annual basis
ACCOUNTING & FINANCE EXPERIENCE

Experience with best practice finance and accounting systems, processes and department structure
Breadth and depth of knowledge to do with Great Plains core system migration, Great Plains Project Billing and report writer
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Accounting or Finance required; CPA is an asset
5+ years of Great Plains system design, migration, reports experience and 5+ years of training and development experience
3+ years of Great Plains Projects module design, billing and mapping experience
Strong knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting IT systems, General knowledge of the residential property management industry is an asset
Experience leading a work stream on a transformation project accountable for optimizing efficiencies and reducing costs within organizations going through significant change
Exceptional communication and change management skills
System experience - Great Plains, GP Projects, Yardi, Jonas, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio and Project Skills
